Anne and Gary have been involved in volunteering for many years. Gary has volunteered by organising school fundraising campaigns, running volunteer programmes at Rugby Clubs, volunteering with and running community theatres and volunteering with Crisis at Christmas. Anne has been a volunteer with Tenby Arts Club and Friends of Tenby Museum and Art Gallery and Tenby Blues Festival for many years, and volunteered to set up Films4Tenby after the local cinema closed.

Community Fridge
This is based in The Old Chapel in Lower Frog St and is always in need of volunteers to pick up a slot on their weekly rota to open, shut or collect. For more information…

Tenby Community Edible Garden
Volunteers are welcome to help to look after this – it is next to Tenby Bowling Club and is open for people to enjoy or help to look after whenever it suits them. There is a box with tools etc behind one of the park benches under the shelter.

Charity Shop Volunteer
There are several charity shops in Tenby and at least one of them is looking for volunteers to help in the front of the store or sorting stock in the back. Just go in to a shop and ask!

Public Gardens
Would you like to help look after a small public garden in Tenby, so that it can be better for wildlife, with pollinator plants and perennials. Get in touch below.
Litter- Picking

Tenby Town Council is a Keep Wales Tidy Litter picking Hub and has equipment that can be borrowed so that you can go litter picking around Tenby at a time and with friends or not, to suit you!
There are also during the summer months, regular litter picks run by Time for Tenby every other Saturday meeting at 10 am outside St Julian’s Church on the harbour which everyone is welcome to come along and join.

Tenby Ambassadors
This is a new project where people can volunteer to act as an ambassador for visitors to Tenby during pedestrianisation by wandering around in the centre of town answering questions. If you are interested, get in touch!
Tenby Repair Cafe Repairers

This takes place on the second Saturday of each month in Augustus Place Hall from 2 – 4pm. A volunteer is needed to help by looking at the electrical gadgets that people bring in to see if they are repairable or not.
